A video of mine that made it to Vox during the pandemic. This made me enourmously proud. (Huge fan). And it was for a good reason.
I worked really hard all day in friday to finish the video. Saturday morning I’ve got this great news. People needed to know what was going on here. I like to thing that I’ve helped a little bit.
Second, a video which brought me my first award. With this video, we won the 2021 EPPY Awards in the “Best news or event feature video” category, ending ahead of Bloomberg Business. I’ve done the assembly, editing and motion graphics. This is about a city in the northeast of Brazil that is suffering with the results of abusive mining.
Third – in 2020 I started making soundtracks for podcasts, and this one is very special to me because I’ve recorded a 12-string guitar in addition to the digital instruments.
