The Challenge The Maria Cecilia Souto Vidigal Foundation (FMCSV) needed to consolidate the results of the “Early Childhood Awareness Trails”—a series of strategic meetings to engage political leaders across Brazil. The goal was to create a video showcase to be screened at the International Early Childhood Symposium in front of a highly qualified audience of experts and authorities. The core challenge was to go beyond a simple “event recap”: the piece needed to build a clear, didactic, and sensitive narrative, translating advocacy impact and dense public policy data into a visually engaging experience.
The Solution & Strategy I worked in close creative collaboration with the Foundation’s team to develop the technical and visual support for the narrative. Responsible for editing, finishing, and motion graphics, my focus was to organize a vast library of b-roll footage and testimonies into a cohesive structure.
To communicate social data and the urgency of the agenda (such as structural indices and childhood inequality), I applied Data Visualization (Dataviz) techniques integrated with motion design. Refined animated graphics were created to guide the viewer naturally, merging the informative rigor demanded by the public sector with the human appeal necessary to inspire action.
The Impact The result was a dynamic and precise audiovisual essay that visually translated the strength of the initiative. The video materialized the impact of the four regional events (Recife, São Paulo, Belém, and Brasília), which brought together nearly 300 public managers. Presented at the International Symposium, the showcase fulfilled its strategic role: it connected cold numbers to the human dimension, engaging decision-makers and strengthening the Foundation’s positioning in advocating for early childhood in Brazil.
